Center for Children's Literature hosts children's fall book sale

The Carthage College Center for Children's Literature will host a fall book sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Hedberg Library at Carthage, 2001 Alford Park Drive.

The sale will feature children’s and young adult books. Hardcover books cost $3 each, and paperbacks cost $1 each, and some free books will be available too.
The Center for Children’s Literature features a collection of more than 25,000 titles meant to instill a love of reading in children. The center also organizes workshops, reading programs, and lectures from well-known authors.
All books being sold are either directly from the publishers or were once a part of Carthage’s collection of books. Proceeds from the sale allow Carthage to expand its collection and to fund author visits to the campus.
